Dame Trot's dairy has ten green milk bottles precariously standing on a wall. You can guess what happens next.
When Giant Blunderbore doubles the taxes and nobody in Muddlebrook can pay, his mum kidnaps Princess Jill instead, Jack goes to market but returns with a bag of beans, and Rowena Ratzi covers the entire disaster live on air as King Harold's Royal Reporter.
Pat the cow is a real audience pleaser, and has a hilarious list of moo-sical favourites and dance moo-ves like Jagger. There's also a beanstalk to grow and a chorus of bean-sprites to grow it.

Jack and the Beanstalk Pantomime Script Excerpt
There is a table with twelve milk bottles, an empty milk crate and an order book on it. SIMON has just asked the AUDIENCE if they would like to play a game.
SIMON: Excellent. It’s a very simple game. I give you an instruction and you have to do what I say… but there’s a catch. You only do it if I say ‘Simon says’ first. (Beat) What? You’ve heard of Simon Says before? Great! That means you’ll all be really good at it! OK, here goes… Simon says clap your hands.
The AUDIENCE clap their hands.
SIMON: Great. That was an easy one. Let’s go again. Simon says put your hands in the air.
The AUDIENCE put their hands in the air.
SIMON: Very good. Simon says stamp your feet.
The AUDIENCE stamp their feet.
SIMON: Simon says put your hands down.
The AUDIENCE put their hands down. SIMON looks impressed.
SIMON: You’re all brilliant at this. Clap your hands.
Beat. Chances are someone in the AUDIENCE claps their hands.
SIMON: Oh no, you’re out. Better luck next time!
SIMON: (Or, if they get it right…) Well done, you were really paying attention!
DAME TROT: (Entering) There you are, Simon; I’ve been looking for you everywhere. I need your help with the milk round.
SIMON: (Pointing at the milk bottles) Is that what all these bottles are for?
DAME TROT: Exactly.
SIMON: And what about the ones on the wall in the garden?
DAME TROT: What colour are they?
SIMON: Green.
DAME TROT: How many are there?
SIMON: There were ten, but one green bottle accidentally fell.
DAME TROT: I see.
SIMON: So now there’s nine green bottles standing on the wall.
DAME TROT: It was much easier to get the milk round sorted when your father was alive. (Nostalgically) I would do anything to go back to the day I met him.
SIMON: You never told me about that.
DAME TROT: I’m not sure I can talk about your dad right now. I’ll get all upset. (She sniffles) In fact… I’ve got the feels.
The AUDIENCE shout ‘You’re a fox, Trot!’
SIMON: Do you think it would help to talk about him?
DAME TROT: It always helps to talk, but I haven’t got the time. We’ve got work to do!
SIMON: You could tell me about him while we sort the milk out.
DAME TROT: Good thinking! Here’s what we’ll do: I’ll tell you the story of how we met, and you read out the names of the customers from that little book as we go. Every time you call a name, I’ll put that person’s bottle into the crate.
SIMON: Sounds like a crate idea!
