Your audience arrives already knowing who Cinderella is, what happens to the beanstalk, and roughly how things turn out for Peter Pan, and that familiarity is an asset, not a limitation. The job of a traditional pantomime script is to honour the story and then find every possible opportunity to surprise, delight, and bring the house down within it.
Every script here is fully original. Not an adaptation, not a licensed retelling, classic tales reimagined from scratch, with new characters, new comic business, and gags that belong to the show rather than borrowed from anywhere else. That distinction matters: a group performing one of these scripts is putting on something genuinely new, even when the title is centuries old.
Traditional pantomime scripts also tend to be the safest choice when a society is unsure about its audience. A well-known title reduces marketing effort, reassures committees, and gives directors a strong foundation to build on.
