Summer Pantomime Scripts
The same great panto scripts, now with better weather.
Summer pantomime has a slightly different energy to December: audiences tend to be in higher spirits before they arrive, the pressure of the festive season is absent, and there is something genuinely joyful about a pantomime that happens when nobody expects it. More societies are adding summer productions to their calendar, and the audiences tend to be very glad they did.
The scripts below suit summer performance particularly well, stories and settings that feel naturally at home in the warmer months, with no awkward references to winter atmospheres to navigate around. Several of them work well for groups who want to run a lighter production alongside their main winter show, or for societies making the most of a summer venue that would otherwise go unused. Cast flexibility is worth bearing in mind too: summer availability varies, and all of these scripts have cast sizes that can be adjusted without significant rewriting. The licensing process is identical to any other time of year, and a free Perusal Script is available for all of them.
Alice In Wonderland, Cinderella, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Hansel and Gretel, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Rapunzel, and Robin Hood are our Summer recommendations.
