These scripts suit the situation most groups actually find themselves in: a reliable company of performers, enough experienced leads to fill ten or more principal roles, and an ensemble that wants to feel genuinely involved rather than decorative. The principal count sits between the tight discipline of a small-cast show and the logistical stretch of a large one.
Most scripts include named supporting roles on top of the principal count, so there’s room to give more of your company something specific to play. Cast sizes listed are a guide, not a ceiling.
