Panto scripts with fourteen or more principal roles. For companies where the challenge is finding enough good parts, not filling them.

These scripts suit companies where the question is not whether you have enough performers, but whether you have enough good parts for all of them. Each script has at least fourteen principal roles, and most scripts include a number of additional named supporting parts on top of that, so if you are working with a company of twenty or more capable performers, there is real casting depth and plenty to go round. If your cast isn’t that large, many of the roles can be doubled by the same actor, so there’s no reason not to take a look.

Large-cast scripts also tend to have more substantial ensemble scenes. Your chorus gets plenty of stage-time throughout, not a walk-on and a verse of the song. If your group has grown, or you have spent a few seasons on smaller shows and want to stretch, this is the natural next step.
