Pantomime Scripts
for Small Casts

Panto scripts with up to nine principal roles, plus supporting parts to involve more of your company.

A smaller cast does not have to mean a smaller show. Each of these scripts runs to a full two-act structure with interval, with all of the elements your audiences expect: the Dame, the slapstick, the songsheet, the set pieces. The principal cast stays manageable, the show does not shrink to match it.

Most of these scripts also include named supporting roles alongside the principals, so there is room to involve more of your company without padding out the cast unnecessarily. Cast sizes listed are a guide, not a ceiling.

Smaller principal counts also tend to make rehearsal scheduling more straightforward, which matters when your company is working around jobs, families, and the usual chaos of amateur production life. If your group has found larger casts difficult to manage in the past, these scripts are worth looking at seriously, not as a compromise, but as a more practical way to put on a strong show.

A free Perusal Script is available for every title. Read it, share it with your director and your committee, and decide in your own time.

Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Hansel and Gretel and Jack and the Beanstalk all have smaller principal casts.
