About The Author
Nick Lawrence has been a Pantomime Scriptwriter, Producer and Musical Director for over a decade.
Biography
Having joined his local Youth Theatre as a child, Nick discovered a love for musicals, which led him to pantomime. He now works as a pantomime musical director and producer, as well as on various other musical and comedy projects.
Through his own personal experience, Nick knows what it’s like to be onstage, backstage, in the band and part of the production team, so he’s got plenty of experience and lots of Top Tips to get the best out of each cast.
He’s since combined everything he’s picked up along the way to write his own collection of Pantomime Scripts. Each follows a traditional Panto story with a few added twists and turns, and are packed full of jokes. His family-friendly scripts are available to peruse and for licence.
Nick’s scripts are frequently performed by amateur theatre groups, across the UK and internationally, and have won multiple awards with NODA and the Association of Musical Theatre (ACT UK).
Nick is a multi-instrumentalist and has a 1st Class Degree in Music from the University of West London. He is currently available as a freelance scriptwriter, musical director, musician, and arranger.
