Panto Scripts that Work in Spring
Easter is an excellent time to perform pantomime. Audiences are available, venues are bookable, and the competition for family entertainment in April is a good deal thinner than it is in December. Every script here runs a full two acts with an interval, at around two hours of playing time, and none of them leans on Christmas, so there is nothing seasonal to write around.
Easter Pantomime Script Titles
Alice in Wonderland Pantomime Script
Nothing in Alice is tied to Christmas, so it plays just as well in Spring. The tea party, the playing cards and the Queen's tarts all suit a spring audience, and a large cast keeps your whole company busy over the holidays.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears Pantomime Script
A circus travels into spring without a single line needing changed. Bright, warm and busy, which is what an Easter family audience turns up for, and 13 principals means most of your company is on stage.
Hansel and Gretel Pantomime Script
Cakes, biscuits and a Gingerbread House make this an easy sell over the Easter holidays. Eight principals keeps it manageable for a spring production when not everybody is available, and the Chorus still has plenty to do.
The Little Mermaid Pantomime Script
An underwater pantomime with no seasonal references at all, which makes it a straightforward choice for a spring run. Colourful rather than festive, and it needs no adapting to move away from December.
Peter Pan Pantomime Script
Flying, pirates and Neverland work in any season, and none of it leans on Christmas. A strong Easter choice for a company large enough to fill it, with plenty of parts for younger members off school.
Pinocchio Pantomime Script
Four settings, a whale and a circus, with nothing that reads as wintry. The Ensemble scenes are among the most distinctive we have written, so this makes a proper spring production rather than a smaller stopgap.
Rapunzel Pantomime Script
Spring suits Rapunzel, and a hair salon carries no seasonal baggage whatsoever. With 15 principals plus supporting roles, a large company stays fully occupied through the Easter break.
Robin Hood Pantomime Script
Sherwood in spring, which is where the story naturally sits anyway. An outdoor-feeling script with an archery contest and a Girl Guides subplot, and a large cast for a company with numbers to use over the holidays.
